About the Producer

Lucia Vaughn, Owner of CharacterCapers.com, has been producing events since the year 2000. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Salem State College and attended George Washington University for a Certification in Event Management. Vaughn was second in charge for producing The Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Walk for years 2000 and 2001. She has had extensive and varied event management assignments involving numerous areas of event planning including fundraising, logistics, marketing, design and production of small and large-scale events. She also served during two terms on the International Special Events Society (ISES), Boston Chapter’s Board of Directors. Vaughn is also a performing artist and has strong ties in the local music community.

Vaughn partners her skills with a large international network of event professionals. And depending on the occasion, can design, plan and produce anything from the simplest element (reference someone in a Sponge Bob costume with balloons) to large-scale, multi-venue, multi-event gatherings.
